Surfing is a water sport in which athletes stand on Surfboard, or use webs, kneeling boards, inflatable rubber pads, rowboats, kayaks, etc. to control waves.
Surfing originated in Hawaii. In 1915, surfing made its debut on the South American continent. In 1962, the first World Surfing Championships were held in Manly, Australia. In 2010, the first China Hainan Wanning International Surfing Festival was held. On December 7, 2020, the International Olympic Committee agreed to include surfing as an official event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The highest organization of surfing is the World Surfing Federation, established in 1976. China Surfing Agency is China Extreme sport Association, which was founded in 2004.
